The Internet Society (ISOC), in collaboration with OSIANE and Af-IX, are organising the Central Africa Peering Forum (CAPF), an initiative that involves AFRINIC.
The event will take place on May 27, 2020 from14:00 to 16:00 UTC. The event will broadly address Peering and Interconnection issues through building resilient Internet infrastructures that can sustain the current C-19 crisis, among others.
Discussions will revolve around:
- The impact of COVID-19 on the peering and interconnection ecosystem
- How to develop local content and online services
- What key interventions will be required to develop Internet infrastructure in a post-COVID-19 era
Amreesh Phokeer from AFRINIC will participate and will be making a presentation on the impact of this pandemic on Internet traffic.
