Working Groups (WGs) and committees are formed around a particular work item, enabling a group of people to focus on specific tasks. WGs and Committees may exist only as long as it takes to complete the assigned tasks, such as the Nominations Committee, or they may be long-standing, such as the Policy Development Working Group (PDWG).
