The AFRINIC Policy Development Process supports AFRINIC's role at managing the Internet Number Resources for its service region by enabling the bottom-up, transparent and open approach to policy development. The policies that reach consensus and are ratified by the AFRINIC Board provide the guidelines for the approval of resource requests.

The Internet Society (ISOC), in collaboration with OSIANE and Af-IX, are organising the Central Africa Peering Forum (CAPF), an initiative that involves AFRINIC.
The event will take place on May 27, 2020 from14:00 to 16:00 UTC. The event will broadly address Peering and Interconnection issues through building resilient Internet infrastructures that can sustain the current C-19 crisis, among others.
